John Munger Celebrates Forty Years Practicing Law
Spring 2014 marks the fortieth year of legal practice for John Munger, the founding partner of Munger, Chadwick & Denker, P.L.C. A pillar of the Tucson community, John is one of Arizona’s (and the United States’) leading attorneys in real estate, corporate law, and administrative law.
A 1973 cum-laude graduate of the University of Arizona Law School, John served as Note Editor of the Arizona Law Review and was admitted to the Order of the Coif upon graduation, an honor bestowed upon only the top ten percent of graduating law students. John’s interest in academics and legal scholarship continues: He earned his L.L.M. (Master of Laws) degree in International Trade and Business Law from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in 2008, and has authored six law review articles, the latest having been published in the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law in February 2014.
John’s devotion to Tucson, to Arizona, and to the United States as a whole is one of the hallmarks of his career. In addition to his distinguished service in the U.S. Army in Korea, John has served as President of the Arizona Board of Regents (the governing body for Arizona’s universities), State Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party, and Chairman of the Board of the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. John regularly appears as a political commentator on KVOI radio 690 AM.
John also has earned nearly every award available in the legal profession; he enjoys a Martindale-Hubble AV rating from his peers, fourteen years and counting as one of The Best Lawyers in America©, and inclusion in the exclusive Bar Registry of Preeminent Lawyers© (representing only the top 3-5% of all lawyers).
His proudest achievement, however, is a job well done. Countless clients—and even opposing counsel—can attest to John’s skills, ethics, honesty, and integrity. The entire team at Munger, Chadwick & Denker congratulates John on his successes so far, and looks forward to many more in the future.
