Munger, Chadwick & Denker congratulates its newest associate, Andrew Barbour, on two achievements: admission to the Arizona Bar, and receiving his United States Customs Broker’s License!
Andrew was admitted to the Arizona Bar on December 11, 2013. The United States Customs and Border Protection (“CBP”) issued Andrew Customs Broker’s license on December 2, 2013.
As a licensed Customs Broker, Mr. Barbour may act on behalf of clients to conduct transactions with CBP concerning entry and admissibility of merchandise, classification and valuation of goods, payment, refund, and drawback of duties, and preparation of documents to be filed with CBP. Mr. Barbour also is certified by the International Chamber of Commerce as a Documentary Credit Specialist, and can assist clients seeking expertise relating to documentary credits, standby letters of credit, and bank (demand) guarantees.
Since joining Munger, Chadwick, & Denker Andrew has been working on business formations, real-estate transactions and disputes, and assisting our other attorneys on a number of matters in litigation. With his newest credentials and nearly five years of international trade experience gained while serving as in-house counsel with Hyundai Corporation in Seoul, Korea, Andrew looks forward to helping Munger, Chadwick & Denker grow its international practice.
Mr. Barbour also has been admitted to practice law in Connecticut since 2009.
